2009 - Year of the Ox
By Brenda Black, ISAR-CAP
The Year of the Ox in Chinese Astrology begins on January 26, 2009 at 12:55 AM Mountain Standard Time. There is plenty of money to be made during the Year of the Ox. The year brings many moneymaking opportunities but they do not last long so grab them in a moment’s notice! We will all have to work hard to receive our paychecks and the motto is “No work, No Pay.” There is a return to traditional values and more couples will marry versus living together. Married couples on the verge of divorce may stay together after all just to save legal expenses. The medical community will offer revolutionary surgical procedures for those who suffer from arthritis, osteoporosis, bone fractures and dental problems. More of us will do things the conservative and conventional way. You may waste time arguing with authorities this year!
Rat (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008) (Ben Afflleck and Cameron Diaz) Rats are charming and easy to get along with. The year of the Ox will be a fairly good year. If you are a Rat and are in love with a very special someone, give them a proposal of marriage in late January 2009 and plan a wedding for June 2009. You will have fewer financial ups and downs and investments made in 2008 will bring you great dividends!

(Robert Redford and Barack Obama)
Tiger (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010) Tigers are bold, brave and natural born leaders. If you acquire a pet born in the year of the OX, it will bring good fortune and repel illness. In love, try not to push your romantic prospect into a permanent relationship. Your earnings will be about the same as last year, but in 2010 The Year of the Tiger will bring in lots of Luck! (Leonardo Di Caprio and Dr. Phil McGraw)
